I have a dream.
A beautiful balcony.
It is raining; pleasing smell of the earth is in the air.
I see miles and miles of green meadows in front of me.
As I take in the breathtaking sight, my mind flows freely.
I’m writing a book; completely in peace.
I wake up.
I take my dog for a walk.
It is raining; I don’t know if the smell of the earth is in the air.
I’m too annoyed to notice; my hair is getting wet with the constant drizzling.
Disgusted with having to step on to the slushy road and get my feet dirty.
I just want to get back home.
And it suddenly strikes me.
We ask for something and life gives us a flavour of it.
We are however lost in picking out the unpleasant bits.
I take a deep breath.
I look up at the sky and a few drops from the tree above fall right on my eyes.
It now feels pleasing. I open my eyes to see pink flowers on the tree.
I’ve learnt something today.
It’s a great day.
