Alone, but not lonely (poem)

Alone at the top

A Tree alone at the top. Photo by the author.

You stand out once you get to the top

You get to the top when you take your own path

When you take your own path, It seems like you mostly end up alone

Which is true; but in due course you see

The clouds are your umbrella

The unobstructed wind your cloak

And the universe your admirer

You might be alone, but you are never lonely.
